**Materials Technician (Warehouse) Full Time, Permanent**
**Your Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Materials Management, the Materials Technician (Warehouse) will be responsible for the daily receiving activities, including complete documentation for inbound/outbound shipments, and the coordination of shipments/pickups with 3rd party suppliers. Picking and kitting of stock materials to support internal customers. Continual improvement in terms of storage optimization and efficiencies. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Unload inbound freight and prepare/load outbound freight
- Ensure all work is always performed with safety in mind
- Complete visual inspection and verification of freight prior to any receipts completed
- Handle incoming requests and prepare materials for distribution
- Correctly label and assign material as per request
- Maintain documentation and tracking using SAP
- Ensure reliability and accuracy of material either for inflow/outflow of the material management process
- Maintain safe working conditions for storage and handling of materials
- Inspect and operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times
- Follow proper storage techniques to preserve material until required time of install
- Be required to help carry out any tasks that will ensure the outmost quality of requested material to end user
- Required to document such practices, and maintain any records in reference to preservation techniques

**You**
- 2-4 years of experience in a heavy industry setting
- Warehousing experience considered an asset
- Intermediate material knowledge for all encompassed trades. IE: Pipe fittings, electrical, instrumentation, pumps, piping, well field operations, heavy mobile equipment
- Ability to prioritize work, effectively communicate and engage in a team environment
- Demonstrates flexibility in uncertain situations and adapts well to change
- Well-developed organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Understands signs or symbols (safety signs, labels, shipping, or hazardous materials)
- Strong computer skills and understanding of SAP material management computer-based systems
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada.
- The position is based at Bethune, SK (Regina/Moose Jaw)._
