**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We’re currently seeking a **Purchasing, Warehouse, and Yard Manager.**

The primary purpose of the this role is to provide leadership, training, and guidance in the day-to-day operations to the employees of the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Yard groups. This includes coaching, directing, and training buyers, warehouse and yard employees on consistent processes and standards for day to day operations

The individual in this role oversees and manages supplier selection while managing costs and choosing quality products as directed by the engineering group and customer AML. The Purchasing, Warehouse & Yard Manager collects, analyzes, and summarizes data and trends related to their supply chain. The Purchasing, Warehouse & Yard Manager collaborates with engineering, project management, production and scheduling teams on a daily basis.

**PURCHASING KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Determine inventory parameters, manage purchase orders, communicate delivery schedules and expedite materials
- Plan and execute procurement of BOM components, inventory, and raw materials as required.
- Coordinate with Suppliers providing order status and tracking
- Review and update current product and service availability information and initiate communication bulletins as required.
- Responsible to communicate Supplier performance.
- Communicate with Quality Managers to report non-conformances both external and internal.
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking.
- Prepare to report as well as analyze statistical data relating to reports.
- Ensure any inconsistencies with orders are resolved in a timely manner.
- Manage effective relationships with members of the supply chain and production teams by utilizing key negotiation skills.
- Review and assist in the development of all current supply chain systems as they relate to your role.
- Attend scheduling meetings as required

**WAREHOUSE AND YARD RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversees and directs thephysical receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining of all materials in storage in the Warehouse and Yard.
- Oversee and directs the Warehouse and Yard staff on dispatching materials to the Production floor, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining all documentation of incoming and outgoing shipping records.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven management and leadership experience with demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and training teams.
- Ability to build cohesive and highly functioning teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a demanding, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
- Ability to adapt to change and embrace a shared mission
- Complies with Bidell policies and best practices in daily work.
- Applies to understand of Bidell’s operational strategies, processes, and interaction with others in the Supply Chain organization in daily work.
- Demonstrates use of data control concepts and is able to explain these to the purchasing team.

**KNOWLEDGE BASE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma and Trade Certification.
- Eight to ten years in the oil and gas industry in natural gas compression preferred.
- Eight to ten years in procurement and supply chain management in the oil and gas industry in natural gas compression preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems to generate reports, recognizes data errors, and maintain basic system-related documentation.
