In Canada, CNOOC International has oil sands assets in Long Lake, located in northern Alberta just south of Fort McMurray, which is a SAGD operation with production capacity of 72,000 barrels of bitumen a day. We also have interest in several other oil sands projects, including Hangingstone, operated by Greenfire Resources Operating Corporation, and Syncrude’s oil sands mining upgrading facility. In addition to our oil sands business, we have shale gas land in Northeast British Columbia, a power station in Balzac, Alberta, and interest in a wind farm in southern Alberta. **Your Background**:

- 10-15 years of subsurface interpretation experience;
- Athabasca oilsands experience preferred;
- Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Geophysics;
- Professional designation with APEGA;
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
- Broad knowledge of geology and petrophysics;
- Understanding of reservoir and production engineering would be an asset;
- Working knowledge and understanding of the upstream Oilsands business model;
- Operational, SAGD or other thermal process experience is desirable;
- Software: Petrel, Hampson-Russell.
- Displays a strong personal commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE);

**Your Role with Our Team**:
