Support Scheduled production changeovers through careful preparation of material readiness
Dryer readiness checks, Blend material accuracy, regrind management.
Preparation of both dryers and hoppers.
Supply material & facilitate color changes in accordance with scheduled guidelines.
Colorant, regrind, grinder area management and 6S disciplines.
Ensuring the cleanliness of machines (hoppers, dryers etc.) to prepare equipment for contamination free changes.
Pellet free environment.
Effective labelling of all visual management containers (Bins/Grinders/Purge/Gaylords/Pails etc.)
Raw Material Inventory Team Member - mandatory attendance.
6S organization and visual management including the breakdown of gaylords and placement on skids for effective disposal.
Actively participate in the IATF quality system.
Assist the Warehouse Material Handler/Supervisor support when required.
Position requires working in a fast paced environment
Must have the ability and willing to work overtime as required
Must be able to work Swing shifts (Days and Afternoons rotating every 2 weeks)
Must able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures
Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders without restrictions
Must be medically fit to operate a lift truck as per the CSA standard for truck operation
Pay: From $21.00 per hour

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Plastic Injection Molding: 2 years (required)
- Resin Handler: 2 years (required)
- Forklift: 2 years (required)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift License (required)
- Lockout certificate (required)
