We are seeking dedicated and experienced Traffic Control Persons (TCP) and Lane Control Technicians (LCT) to join our team.

Role Overview: As a Traffic Control Person (TCP) or Lane Control Technician (LCT), you will be responsible for managing and directing traffic in construction zones, ensuring road safety, and maintaining smooth traffic flow. Your role will involve working closely with road crews, understanding project requirements, and communicating effectively with both drivers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
Traffic Control Person (TCP):

- Implement and manage traffic control plans in accordance with project specifications.
- Direct and manage traffic around construction zones, ensuring the safety of drivers and workers.
- Use traffic control devices and signs effectively to guide and manage traffic flow.
- Communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians, providing instructions and information as needed.
- Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain awareness of surrounding traffic conditions and adjust controls as necessary.

Lane Control Technician (LCT):

- Oversee the proper setup and maintenance of lane control devices and equipment.
- Monitor and manage traffic in work zones to ensure safe and efficient lane usage.
- Coordinate with project managers and TCPs to align lane control measures with ongoing construction activities.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to drivers regarding lane changes and closures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Address and report any issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:
Traffic Control Person (TCP):

- Minimum of 6 months of experience in traffic control.
- Knowledge of traffic control devices, signals, and procedures.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and manage stressful situations effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey instructions clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with road crews and other team members.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Work Location: On the road
