As a Junior IT Service Technician, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
**Duties**:

- Performing onsite and remote tech support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Performing routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of systems.
- Building, tearing down, and deploying PCs.
- Solving PEBCAK (Problem Exists Between Chair and Keyboard) issues with a touch of humour.
- Installing and configuring software and hardware components.
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
- Upgrading and testing systems to enable software compatibility.

**Job Requirements**:

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills**.**:

- Familiarity with both Windows and Mac systems, mobile devices, and other PC hardware.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles is required.
- A genuine passion for technology and a curious mind.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**Nice to haves**:

- Previous experience in IT support or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe products.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Anti Virus solutions.

**Compensation**:
For this position the typical hiring salary range falls between CAD **$55,000 **and **$65,000** per year. The base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience. LMG's compensation structure is rooted in a performance and merit based approach that acknowledges performance of both the individual and the team.
