**YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE**:
Reporting to the Manager Metallurgy, you will be part of the Process Plant Operations Department. You will be accountable for the metallurgical performance of the process plant, ensuring equipment is operational and meets safety standards for all production objectives. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of the metallurgical team members;
- Liaise with operations and maintenance to ensure the achievement of optimal and cost effective metallurgical performance;
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies;
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement programs to realize process improvements;
- Monitor daily metallurgical performance and analyze and report plant operating results and costs.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Degree in chemical, mineral processing or metallurgical engineering with eligibility for P. Eng registration with the PEO;
- Minimum five years’ experience working in a senior metallurgical role;
- Gold mineral processing experience preferred;
- High level of integrity and accountability;

**YOUR WORKER SCHEDULE**:

- Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
