Job Summary:
Change Health Alberta is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counsellors to join our team for an upcoming summer camp program. As a Camp Counsellor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children attending the camp.

Our Summer Camp Programs are run in partnership with Parkland County and are offered across different locations throughout the summer. Applicants must have access to reliable transportation for the duration of the contract as no public transportation is available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and interact with campers to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts
- Educate campers on various topics through fun and interactive sessions
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Collaborate with other counselors to coordinate daily schedules and activities
- Ensure the well-being of all campers by following safety protocols and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is an asset
- Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate campers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, patient, caring, responsible, engaging, punctual and cooperative
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search (can be obtained before starting)

Details:

- Contract starts June 24 and ends on August 16. Change Health Alberta is looking for staff who are available for the entire duration of the contract, some flexibility with days off will be considered
- Day camp hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: $18.00 per hour
