Clifton is currently searching for a full time, permanent Intermediate Hydrologist to join us in any of our locations. As a Hydrologist, you will be a reliable, knowledgeable, and valued member of our Water Sciences Team. You will focus on conducting safe field work, data collection, documentation, and report preparation. Join our team to become part of the Clifton difference.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide engineering assessment, design, and analysis for a variety of water management and mining projects.
- Manage projects, write proposals, prepare technical reports, and respond to client requests.
- Prepare technical work plans and cost estimates.
- Provide technical expertise, direction, and mentorship to other junior staff.
- Adhere to Clifton’s Quality Management System in project delivery.
- Other duties, as required.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Undergraduate Degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with APEGS.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in water resources, mining, or environmental engineering. Consulting experience considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, including effective management of multiple and conflicting priorities with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, in the context of work/life balance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Continued attention to safety and safe work environments, with a strong workplace safety orientation.
