Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chainsaw Operator to join our team for a fixed contract of approximately 4 to 6 weeks. As a chainsaw operator, you will be responsible for site clean up on a large scale forestry management job. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production processes.

**Duties**:

- Operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic knowledge of machine troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 weeks

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- forestry: 1 year (preferred)
- First Aid Certification: 1 year (preferred)
