Where will you work: Onsite Highway #1 Plant site, 3 Kalium Road Belle Plaine, SK S0G 0G0

What you’ll do:
- Work at 60 ft from ground level in on the tubing board. The Derrick Hand Handles Tubulars & Drill Pipe as the rig trips in and out of the well.- Capable of operating Tongs, Winches, Catwalks, Valves in a cluster building, Managing pipe inventory.- Train and be open to mentorship from the Service Rig Operator and be able to mentor the Floor Hand using the Mosaic core values.- Maintain a positive attitude and work cooperatively with other departments and employees on site.- Responsible to ensure that yourself and crew adhere to completing quality Safe Work Plans, Daily Rig and equipment inspections, Hazard identification and risk mitigation.- Communicate with your crew any questions you may have about the work that is to be performed, any safety concerns or questions and be open to learning and improving the skills required to become a successful Derrick Hand.- Support The Rig Operator and be willing to learn software used for well data inputs and time tracking (Wellview)- Participate in Moring shift starts and be actively engaged in discussions, Attend Monthly safety meeting and training that is provided on site. Participate in behavior-based safety (SABER)- #LI-DNP

What you’ll need:
- High School diploma or GED certificate is required. Associate Degree in process technology discipline is preferred.- Minimum 2 years of previous service rig experience.- Basic computer skills are required.- Experience working in a team environment is a must.- Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.- Effective verbal communication skills are a plus.- Physical work environment onsite with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments on a daily basis.
