**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager, Cancer and Palliative Care Services. This is a pivotal clerical position, contributing to the efficient, coordinated flow of patients, documents, charts and information within the Palliative Care Service. This position requires a mastery of general office and organizational skills to ensure the overall efficiency of the Palliative Care Services, with a specific focus on computer-based data entry, chart prep, CWS clinical bookings and transcription.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Graduate of a recognized Business Administration/Office Administration/ Secretarial Program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical Terminology Course required
- Previous secretarial experience an asset
- Health Care experience preferred
- Experience with Electronic Forms Respiratory (EFR) preferred
- Experience with electronic systems such as Meditech (Registration/CWS), SHARE, Outlook, Microsoft, EMR electronic medical records preferred
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment and also effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of inventory control and record keeping an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills (direct interaction with volunteers, staff and public)
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

- This position supports Palliative Care Community Services (Monday - Friday, 8-4)

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$21.73 - $24.31 Hourly
