TEAMS Transport is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our busy Woodstock Terminal

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position.

**Qualifications**:

- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong time management; able to prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
- Geographic knowledge of Canada and US necessary
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a face paced environment.
- Knowledge of several types of equipment for transportation
- Certificate in Transportation an asset
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Minimum 2 years' Experience in Transportation/ Logistics operations necessary

**Tasks**
- Create, coordinate and plan freight moves, routing and schedules
- Build relationships with customers.
- Understand customers' needs and how to assist them.
- Understand freight markets in different regions across North America
- Use load boards and customer contacts to secure loads for company assets.
- Provide rates and truck availability to customers.
- Work closely with the entire operations team (planners, dispatch, customs, tracing, etc.) to ensure orders are delivered on time without issue.
- Resolve problems as they come up, provide, and recommend measures to improve processes.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work.
- Various other duties as may be required.
