**Guardian Veterinary Centre's **is currently welcoming **Veterinary Technician Assistants** to support our team - we work with an incredible team of CSR's, Technicians and Veterinarians.

A few key responsibilities:

- Caring for patients and providing them with a comfortable, clean and safe environment, providing basic necessities such as food and water, and taking the patients for walks when appropriate
- Assisting our team during CPR and providing essential help with our critical care patients - training provided
- Completing and signing off on cleaning tasks within the hospital
- Disinfecting supplies and instruments in a timely matter
- Maintaining an organized and tidy environment to keep our hospital running as efficiently as possible
- Stocking cupboards and drawers with appropriate supplies, towels, blankets, etc.
- Communicating with clients on the phone and in person

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to multitask and complete tasks in an efficient and thorough manner
- Previous experience within a hospital or within an animal care role not required but preferable
- Caring and confident communication skills
- Team player
- Must be comfortable working with various animals such as dogs, cats, wildlife and exotics such as reptiles and small animals.
- 18 years or older
