Care Provided by Midwife:
- Provide primary healthcare to women, including gynecological examinations, family planning services, prenatal care, and assistance during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health during pregnancy.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain detailed patient records and charts.
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) credential.
- Experience in medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Certified and licensed to work in British Columbia.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $63,489.12-$140,744.59 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
