- Production Supervisor and Lead hand

**Position Purpose**

To ensure food is processed according to specifications Key Accountabilities Ensuring food quality along with standard productivity.

**Responsibilities**
- Visual check of mixer prior to start-up
- Responsible for start-up, review-mixing schedule
- Make sure to put all ingredients in the mixer according to the formula
- Follow the mixing procedure according to the formula
- Ensure all variances to formulas are reported to the Supervisor and documented
- Ensure all documentation is completed
- Check and document every dough temperature and time of check - confirm by initialing
- Ensure the mixing area is neat and clean
- Dump your garbage and keep your garbage bin clean and washed
- Work closely with Lead hand and Inform Lead hand of any quality issue immediately
- Prior to leaving at the end of the shift, ensure the work area is clean
- Sweep the mixer area throughout the shift
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook o Keep work area clean and clear of hazards o Report any unsafe conditions, incidents or injuries to supervisor immediately
- Use all prescribed personal protective equipment
- Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed

**Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies**
**Preferred**
- High school diploma or equivalent

- ASPIRE BAKERIES Limited is a 24-hour/7-day manufacturing operation
- The temperature of the environment within the production area can range from 58 - 80 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the department
- The production areas are often loud, exceeding 85 decibels, due to the machinery that is running; earplugs are required to be worn while in the bakery at all times
- Depending on position, some employees may be exposed to dust; dust masks and respirators are available if required
