**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and marinate meat, typically beef, chicken, or lamb, for shawarma according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain shawarma equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness at all times.
- Slice and stack marinated meat onto the vertical rotisserie, ensuring even distribution for optimal cooking.
- Monitor and adjust cooking temperatures as needed to ensure meat is cooked to perfection.
- Prepare and assemble shawarma sandwiches or plates with precision and attention to detail, including adding appropriate garnishes and sauces.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience working as a Shawarma Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
