Landscape Maintenance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of gardening techniques, mechanical skills, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Build and repair fences, pathways, and other landscape structures
- Operate and maintain power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Assist with the installation of new landscape features
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of garden maintenance techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining equipment
- Experience in landscape maintenance and construction
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
