**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanical Technician performs the diagnosis and work related to electrical service calls, instrumentation, control and Mechanical.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain, monitor, and repair automated systems and other production equipment.
- Root cause Analysis and troubleshooting skills to ensure production line running properly.
- Troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems and assist with minor programming changes on software and hardware utilized on automated equipment.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic installation tasks when required.
- Willing to learn and lead training for operators and other technicians on function and operation of equipment to create a continuous improvement and team-work environment.
- Bring any necessary collaboration or expertise in the development of special projects.
- Work closely with workmates and Production team to prioritize jobs and minimize production downtime.
- Understand, support, and comply with all company policies, including: GMP and Food Safety.
- Other projects or tasks as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in electromechanics.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in the field.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and automation processes is an asset.
- Ability to lead preventive maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
- Ability to use various tools (Multimeter, Power Tools, welder with Tig Mig and Stick).
- Autonomous, motivated, and passionate about improving a given situation.
- Ability to communicate in English or French, written and spoken to serve internal and external clients.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- Possess a valid work permit.
