**Job Summary**:
The Philanthropy Associate plays a vital role in the organization's ability to meet its fundraising targets. This position reports directly to the Provincial Philanthropy Manager and assists in the development of the organization’s fundraising strategy. Using their creativity and innovative approach, the Philanthropy Associate develops and executes all fundraising events and activities in the province. Through their community involvement, they build and maintain a strong network of supporters and ensure all aspects of public and community relations align with Hope’s Home mission, vision, and values.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement annual fundraising requests for donations, sponsorships, capital funding and gifts in kind.
- Develop and maintain corporate and community relationships.
- Identify, cultivate and secure gifts from prospective donors and sponsors to increase annual fundraising revenue for Hope’s Home.
- Support in the development of work plans, schedules and timelines for fundraising events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop required campaign program or event related materials.
- Creates budget and works closely with Finance in reporting all Fundraising revenues and expenses.
- Follow Hope’s Home donor recognition guidelines and ensure timely, accurate, and consistent recognition for donors and sponsors.
- Stay current and familiar with best practices within the fundraising field. All other duties as needed and directed.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Fundraising.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in organizing fundraising events, community relations including media relations, and volunteer team management.
- Experience cultivating and securing gifts and donations.
- Knowledge and understanding of non-profit business model.
- Non-profit certificates or education an asset.
- Being well-connected in the community an asset.
- Valid drivers' license.

**Location**: Regina Provincial Team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $44,733.31-$60,522.80 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
