**HEALTH CARE AIDE (HCA)**

**This position is for our Extendicare Oakview Place Home, **2395 Ness Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 1A5**:
**Available opportunities include: Part-Time/Casual; Day/Evening/Night shifts**:
**What you’ll be doing**
- Support residents in participating in activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, bathing, toileting, personal grooming & mobility);
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families;
- Ensure that care is provided according to the person’s wishes, preferences and care plan.

**What you bring**
- Completed HCA certification;
- Demonstrated compassion, accountability and respect;
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English;
- Ability to meet the physical and cognitive demands of the job (e.g. bending, lifting, walking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task).
