**JOB TITLE**:
Golf Shop Attendant

Golf Shop Manager

**SUMMARY**

The Golf Shop Attendant ensures the enjoyment and first class experience of our members and guests, while maintaining policies, procedures and golf shop operations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Opening and closing the Pro Shop, including nightly reporting and pass along
- Maintain Pro Shop cleanliness and tidiness at all times
- Maintain displays and rotate merchandise on a regular basis to ensure a fresh look in the Pro Shop, sell Pro Shop merchandise
- Attend to the Reservations line, book tee times and answer inquiries
- Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform all duties in accordance with daily procedures
- Assist members/guests with questions and concerns
- Stay in constant contact with the Outside Services team
- Print cart plates and driving range name plates
- Contribute to the coordination of all member and guest events and functions
- Maintain communications book
- Handle guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner, report complaints to the Golf Professional or Shop Manager
- Provide daily sales report to the Director of Golf
- Assist the F&B team when required
- Assist the Outside Services team when required
- All other duties as assigned

**GUEST SERVICE**

Provides guest service to members and guests as well as internal contacts, in coordinating activities of golf shop attendants.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)**
- High school level English communication skills
- Prior experience in golf or front desk operations an asset
- Prior retail experience an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

**PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT**
- Work under pressure
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Inside and Outside in a variety of weather conditions

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be able to lift 25 LBS
- Long periods of standing on your feet
- Must be willing to work morning shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 30-44 per week

**Salary**: From $17.60 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
