Thinking Big is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a client in the post secondary education space as they plan for investment in new infrastructure/software and modernized data access and governance processes. _Work will be primarily performed remotely, with the possibility of on-site meetings in Halifax, N.S._

**Responsibilities**
- Act as the Facilitator and Project Manager for the planning engagement for the design and procurement of a new data warehouse
- Articulate the objectives and project framework
- Work directly with Project Team & Leadership Representatives and assess the work and procurement opportunities surrounding data storage and integration with existing business systems
- Develop processes and documentation for the following:

- Functional and technical requirements specification for data architecture and warehousing
- Agile & responsive decision-making structure
- Policy review and management
- Procurement lifecycle
- Understand implications for financing the project

**Deliverables**
- Develop a requirements document to be used in a procurement process
- Develop a data architecture strategy inclusive of project plan, budget, procurement, and resource plan
- Conduct a planning session with key executives
- Conduct a planning event to ‘Plan the Plan’ and kick off the procurement cycle

**Skillset**
- Experience in data management and data storage solutions
- Experience at the senior management level in the higher education environment and governance model
- Proven leadership and change management skills
- Proven project management and system implementation experience in a university environment

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $70.00-$125.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Halifax, NS B3H 4R2
