Air Brakes/ Class 3 Dump Truck Driver

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and goods to and from construction sites. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure its safe and efficient operation
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inspection reports

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is preferred
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects

Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence or Class 3 (preferred)

Work Location: In person
