Produce Inspector

**_Slingshot Transportation Inc. is expanding again We have an exciting new opportunity for a QC Inspector to join our operation in Ingersoll, ON_**

**_Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 07:00 to 16:00_**

**_Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour dependent on experience _**

**Responsibilities but not limited too**:

- Perform thorough Quality Control inspections on inbound loads/containers and outgoing products for shipping to ensure product meets quality control standards based on CFIA regulations and company standards.
- Practice and maintain all food safety policies and procedures
- Process and Product monitoring, evaluation and problem solving
- Supporting shipping and receiving by operating a forklift

**Other Requirements**
- Proven experience in Quality Control, produce industry preferred.
- Experience with sanitization principles, processes, and evaluation
- Minimum 5 years Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience
- Ability to provide after hours and weekend support when necessary
- Valid driver’s license and have reliable vehicle
- Previous shipping and receiving experience an asset
