WHAT TO EXPECT

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Coordinator will ensure the good performance of his team by a sound management of priorities and productivity while managing health and safety as well as product quality by targeting opportunities for improvement.

**Here's an overview of your tasks**:
Participate in workforce planning and training
Support the evening shift supervisor and the team leader in his/her area to achieve operational objectives
Facilitate meetings at the beginning of the shift
Coordinate and schedule his/her work team to perform production related tasks
Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform time approvals for payroll and performance indicator tracking
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
DEC or equivalent and relevant experience (1-3 years) in team coordination
Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational skills and thoroughness
Demonstrate autonomy and initiative
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (aout)
Bilingualism (asset)
