**Job Description**:
Responsible for the creation of brand-appropriate and compelling marketing communications for online initiatives and social media channels, as well as internal and external communications. Oversees ecommerce copy workflow process. Promotes our brands, consistent with target customer, meeting business objectives and user goals.

**1. **English Copywriting**
- Writes product descriptive copy and title description for products on the site, ensuring they are effective, accurate and improve sales.
- Validates that all information in product descriptions is correct; validates grammar, spelling and syntax.
- Interacts with Merchandising Teams and advises them regarding content related issues; corrects any product-related issues at the copywriting level; establishes priorities and meets deadlines.
- Writes highly effective and targeted copy for both brands, including but not limited to: landing pages, contests, homepages, static content pages.
- Works with Graphic Designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style.
- Writes and edits copy for Marketing Department, including but not limited to: brochures, magazines, in-store signage.
- Writes copy for online advertising initiatives, including ppc campaigns, social media ads, and various display networks.
- Ensures that all creative, editorial and product copy promotes branding to achieve sales objectives
- Ensures that all online content is SEO-friendly

**2. **Social Media**
- Creation of social media content, including: conception, creation, approvals, scheduling, posting, monitoring and engaging.
- Coordinates with third party contributors (agencies, bloggers, consultants) to manage workflow and promote a positive working relationship.
- Collaborates with Marketing Department for PR initiatives, and to reinforce mall relations through social media.
- Coordinates with Customer Service Team to quickly resolve customer issues through social media channels.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism or any other pertinent related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience as a copywriter, preferably in retail.
- Understanding of fashion industry is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an asset.
- Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects and diverse audiences.
- Superior knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism.
