**Experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Lead**

- Manage the day-to-day logistics and tasks required of a team of three gardeners to competently execute all the seasonal plant care and landscape needs for a scheduled route of residential and commercial landscape properties.

- Create enthusiastic clients by fostering an efficient, knowledgeable, and positive workspace for your team to excel at their work through proper delegation and quality checks.
- Maintain healthy landscapes through recognizing pests and diseases, observing plant stress and plant damage, monitoring and managing water stress, and utilizing company resources to correct them.
- Contribute administrative support to MHS by capably understanding and using our landscape software to track your team’s hours, log completed tasks, and document pictures notes as needed.
- Grow our Company Culture by building strong relationships with our clients and your co-workers in a professional, supportive, and cooperative manner.

- **Training **- Our Maintenance Manager has 20 years of combined education and passionate experience in Horticulture and training. You will enjoy regular and in-person training on work sites, and support in completing our Core Competency Training Program. **Required Skill Set**
- Minimum 2 years of direct team lead experience.
- **Driving** - Hold a valid drivers license and be able to drive a truck and trailer safely.
- **Attendance** - Team leads are essential to our operation, and our expectation of timely and regular attendance at work is not negotiable. Important personal and medical appointments will always be accommodated. Vacation time can be accommodated but will be limited due to the seasonality of our business.
- **Safety** - A mindfulness to ensure you and your team is working safely by following all company safety protocols. Communicate all safety concerns immediately to management and make suggestions to improve safety based on experience.
- **Plant Knowledge** - A successful team lead will accurately identify common plants and know their required seasonal maintenance needs. Possess knowledge of plants up to zone 6A.
