We are looking for a competent **Production Scheduler** to undertake a variety of tasks such as Production Line scheduling, orientation and training, as well as proper recruitment/placement of employees. You will also assist to ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws regarding employment.

A staffing coordinator must be an excellent communicator, be administratively strong, and to be able to foster relationships with both employees and external vendors. They should ideally have experience in planning and scheduling, hiring and onboarding, as well as other human resources procedures.

The goal is to ensure that the company’s staffing requirements are always met with high functional competency, and that employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

**Responsibilities / General**
- Oversee all Production Line staffing needs and provide support to the Operations of the company.
- Liaise with HR (internal) and Temporary Agencies to fill DAILY/immediate requirements as well as to support filling FT vacancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparation and execution of both Orientation and Training plans; requirements.
- Develop work schedules by allocating employees (Both FT and Temporary) in shifts and positions to ensure optimal Production Operations.
- Assume responsibility for Labor (timekeeping) and time off requests (Vacations, Planned Shutdowns etc. )
- Collaborate frequently with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation and Production labor cost reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external Company policies and regulations
- Prepare and submit reports on Production Staffing Operations, as requested

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as Scheduling Coordinator or similar position (2-3yrs)
- Experience in planning/ scheduling and execution of HR plans (onboarding, orientation, training etc.)
- Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (equal employment opportunity, relocation, laws, visa procedures etc.)
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and industry best practices
- Outstanding organizational, administrative and collaborative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable with a respect to individual and company confidentiality
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc. )
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a TEAM.
