Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Brake Press Operator for the Edmonton manufacturing team on the day shift. This position will report to the General Foreman.

**What you will do**:

- Set up and operation of a 800 ton CNC brake press and 10ft. CNC rolls
- Working with steel 3/16” to 2 ½ “ thickness in the press brake and ¼” to 2” in the rolls
- Adhere to quality control standards and procedures
- Read blue prints and schematics
- Material handling and complete documentation
- Perform basic machine maintenance procedures
- Safety conscious with full participation in the safety program and all safety requirements
- Perform other duties as needed

**Your qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a brake press
- Crane, rigging and forklift operator certifications are assets, or training will be provided
- Performed in any heavy steel fabrication/machining/assembly environment

- Demonstrate mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills to productively complete work in a logical manner and to meet all deadlines
- Knowledge of general safety practices
- Physically fit to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
