Duties
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction and confirm all parts are ready for shipping.
- Conduct regular inspections of products, materials, and equipment to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
- Measure product dimensions, examine the functionality of products, and compare the final products to ensure standards are met.
- Documenting inspection findings and completing detailed reports and performance records

Mark the defective area and return the defective product for rework.
- Educating the production team on quality control processes, including acceptance/rejection criteria, quality concerns, or any possible health and safety concerns.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Reject non-conforming components or products and action replacement.
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Ability to work unassisted, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and change focus quickly when needed.
- Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination & ability to distinguish between colours
- Clean, insert label, and photograph items
- Ability to Lift and handle loads +/- 50lbs.

Experience
- Previous experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of fabricating, machining, and assembly
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to operate a forklift or other heavy machinery is a plus.
