My client is looking for Someone who has worked with Industry DM reference models, which Microsoft, IBM, Teredata and some consulting groups have created, mainly for social and health services, insurance, retail, or any of the main process areas of TSA. If not that experience, then at least building models from the ground up, versus model management and updating. People with data classification or Taxonomy and Ontology experience, and model management, so keeping track of model versions, by whom, when, using tools like Git, Erwin model management or any other sort of check in/check out sort of system. And they should know and really like to work with Erwin.
- 10+ years of experience in a formal data modelling role in a complex organization.
- 7+ years of experience working with BI/Analytics platforms including: working with data management solutions, master data management, data quality, data stewardship, and data warehousing.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, reporting and analytics.
- Previous participation in data management for transformation initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of workload optimization, query performance and data engineering best practices and methods.
- Extensive experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, business intelligence and data analytics.
- Experience with emerging technologies (Big Data, Cloud, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Predictive Analytics, Forecasting, Data Mining, etc.) is an asset

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
