**Our cashier team act as our company’s final touch point with our guests and play an integral role in the overall guest experience. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, ‘people’ person to take a lead role in overseeing our daily cash operations.**

**Overview of role**:

- Supporting the GARDENWORKS Brand by providing outstanding service to our guests
- Creating a positive shopping experience for our guests that is welcoming, inspiring and informative
- Managing the day-to-day function of the cash department
- Mentoring new team members on POS System operation, guest service strategies, and sales goals
- Reconciling cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, accounting for errors and resolving discrepancies
- Working with our POS systems support team, communicating pricing and scanning errors to ensure accurate sales reporting
- Assist the Store Management team with various administrative functions

- You have previous cash handling experience and are confident with navigating our POS system

- You believe in fostering a positive and respectful workplace - listening, looking for solutions and encouraging open communication among the team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays as seasonal peaks require
- This job requires extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to perform some light lifting.

**Job type: Full-time / Rate: $19.00 - 21.00/hr**
