**Position**:

- Supervisor, Light Vehicle, Nunavut**Location and Reporting Structure**:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Maintenance, this position will be a fly in
- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the automotive team for troubleshooting and resolving complex vehicle issues;
- Oversee the comprehensive maintenance, repair, and servicing of light vehicles, including but not limited to trucks, SUVs, and other on-site transportation;
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of automotive technicians and welders to ensure high-performance standards;
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules, encompassing engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems, to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance;
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, modifications, and expenses;
- Manage an inventory system for spare parts, tools, and specialized equipment to support efficient vehicle repairs;
- Enforce B2Gold’s safety protocols and ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations; and
- Identify training needs and provide guidance for continuous improvement of the team's skills and knowledge.

**Desired Competencies and Requirements**:

- Four (4) years’ experience as a light vehicle supervisor within mining operations or similar role is required;
- Maintenance Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Automotive Technician, Interprovincial Red Seal Certification or Nunavut Technician CoQ is required; Supervisory experience preferred;
- Detailed technical knowledge of light vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and advanced diagnostics;
- Strong proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, maintenance management software, and Microsoft Office Suite is considered an asset; and
- Valid driver's license.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $162,604.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $59 and overtime rate of $88.5) in a work year.
