Foreman - Base Crew

**Tollestrup Construction Inc**. has been operating within the road construction industry since 1940. We mine and manufacture several different types of sand and rock products, providing concrete aggregates, asphalt related products and services such as road building, paving, road reclamation, profiling and concrete.

We are currently looking for a **Foreman** for our Base Crews. This position reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for directing and managing all crew members, subcontractors, and equipment, while meeting project/job deadlines.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Extensive experience and knowledge of road construction.
- Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Must have extensive equipment experience, including a Grader and be able to train other employees on this equipment.
- Must obtain Class 5 Drivers License.
- Excellent communication skills to guide and develop staff and deal promptly with public inquiries and contractor groups.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of all relevant bylaws, policies, and OH&S legislation.
- Ability to learn new technology and software.
- Self-motivated and goal orientated.
- Completion of a Supervisor Training Program is considered an asset.
