Portage is looking to hire a Quality Assurance leader, who is responsible for evaluating all practices concerning our clients, ensuring they conform to the Portage procedures and rules, which all the centers are governed by.

He takes part in the standardization process of Portage’s practices and procedures, suggests improvements and manages their implementation. He ensures a regular follow up in order to maintain a constant level of quality for the entirety of its operations. He coordinates the training of managers and counsellors regarding administrative procedures that affect the client directly. He supervises the quality assurance team in each center, regularly receives reports and ensures a thorough follow up on their behalf.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Implements plans of action coming from different sources; inspection, process of client consultation (committees, surveys), employees, client support system (committees, meetings), shareholders, accreditation standards
- Establishes tasks and objectives of Quality Assurance Agents in each center
- Ensures the training of Quality Assurance Agents in all centers
- Analyzes monthly quality assurance report
- Organizes monthly calls with Quality Assurance Agents from all centers
- Ensures a constant stream of communication with the Quality Assurance Agents, the Directors from the centers and the Cooperate Directors
- Accompanies management to external audits (SCC, Ministry of Ontario and others authorities)
- Analyzes incidents and establishes necessary follow-ups in collaboration with the administrations of their respective centers
- Ensures the alignment of Portage’s procedures with the provincial rulings and the Accreditation Canada standards
- Participate on the annual evaluation of the contribution for Quality Assurance Agents in all centers
- Takes note of each centers’ inspection requirements and integrates them into the inspection checklist, including each centers’ priorities
- Completes inspection visits according to plan; reports back to the VP of operations and administration
- Coordinates the reviewing of Portage policies and the dissemination of modification
- Establishes an annual review plan in order to propose in order to process for continuous improvement
- Collaborates on the development of documents and tools relating to client files (database)
- Works on the follow up and coordination of procedures regarding document management and the person in charge of access to client files

**PROFILE REQUIRED**
- University degree in Quality Assurance, Health and Safety or other relevant fields
- Minimum of three years’ experience in the quality assurance field
- Bilingualism; excellent written communication and professional skills and ability to correspond in both official languages (French and English)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High level of confidentiality, ethicality and empathy
- Good understanding of the community sector and its realities
- Team player, independent, self-motivated

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- **Job Type**: Temporary (maternity leave replacement), full-time, 35 hours per week
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday - possibility of hybrid mode work
