**General Qualifications**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Customs_

Ensure trains are processed accurately and timely at all border locations.
Monitor shipments to ensure traffic is cleared prior to arrival at the border or at destination.
Understand and able to transmit various Customs related EDI transactions.
Ability to coordinate solutions with various groups within and outside of CN.
Ensure CN meets its regulatory obligations for reports to Customs agencies.
Process, daily/weekly customs statistics. Familiar with US and Canadian Customs regulations.
Good analytical skills. Good communication and negotiating skills required resolving an array of customs related problems.
- EDI_

Must have a good knowledge of dimensional load regulations and holds/overloads procedures.
Intimate knowledge of diversion procedures.
Understand all applicable rules, tariffs and contracts related to the movement of goods.
Must have a strong working knowledge of waybill and the protection of all aspects of shipment movement information.

Sound knowledge of EDI mapping and how it relates to waybill and field reporting.
Strong knowledge of the electronic commerce industry standards.
Proficient in waybilling; Ability to correct EDI transaction errors
- Holds/Overload_

***Familiar with field reporting and able to identify erroneous information through research.
Initiate daily and weekly reports. Ensure waybill information is transmitted.

Strong communication skills.
