Would you like to specialize while developing your ability to work autonomously? Are you known for your enthusiasm, your attention to detail and your resourcefulness? Great news - iA Financial Group’s Privacy Office is looking for a Compliance Technician like you to contribute to its continued development
You will be responsible for processing, among other things, the requests submitted to the Privacy Office; for supporting iA Financial Group’s different business units’ adherence to privacy obligations; and for working in close collaboration with your team members in the accountability process.
Specifically, you will:
- Work in collaboration to create tools that support the Privacy Office’s processes and documentation
- Help iA Financial Group’s business units understand the privacy program, in the context, for example, of due diligence verifications and calls for tender
- Help develop privacy awareness training activities for all iA Financial Group employees
- Support and supervise business units in the management of confidentiality incidents and privacy inquiries from individuals
- Complete and submit reports required by regulatory authorities
- Compile and document records of the incidents and requests processed
- Participate in drafting reports for various iA Financial Group bodies, including collecting the information necessary for their production from multiple stakeholders
- Your career path looks like this:_
- College diploma in paralegal studies or another relevant discipline
- Ideally 5 years of experience in compliance or working in a legal department
- Knowledge of Office Suite software and comfort working with computer tools
- Knowledge of privacy (strong asset)
- Knowledge of the financial services and insurance industry (asset)
- ** Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal French
- and English-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada**
