Vlt Cashier

**Reports to**: Manager on Duty

**Specific Expectations**:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide superior customer service, while maintaining an accurate cash exchange and safe working environment. The VLT Cashier will maintain an atmosphere and service that are conducive to guest satisfaction, ensuring future returns. The VLT Cashier is responsible for maintaining a safe and controlled exchange of cash for guests, while following all safety and cash-handling procedures for VLT floats.

- Can acquire Criminal Background Check and any necessary certificates;
- Clean, with good hygiene habits;

- Act as a positive spokesperson for Playmakers or Club and its nightly specials and promotions;
- Assume accountability and responsibility of all duties as assigned by management;
- Attend staff meetings and training seminars as necessary;
- Deal with a very loud environment, large crowds and potentially rowdy guests;
- Ensure equipment and supplies are efficient and sufficient;
- Handle a fast-paced environment that is often stressful;
- Learn venue hours of operation, specials, features and promotions;
- Operate a till and all processes of payment;
- Stand, walk and remain on feet and perform job duties for entire shift duration;
- Work quickly and quietly.
