**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support BD managers in client project scoping calls and provide finalized and revised proposals using standard company pricing.
- Provide feedback on pricing templates and update as necessary based on market feedback and Finance directives.
- Support the scoping and pricing of opportunities by supporting the navigation through complex negotiations, agreeing pricing and contractual agreements to support BD managers in closing sales and secure new studies.
- Work within pricing parameters set by the Head of Sales and Finance teams when preparing proposals for clients.
- Participate in scientific and partnering meetings, exhibitions, and conferences to maintain high levels of market presence and engagement as required.
- Update in-house systems accurately and promptly, such as Copper, Global Data and Mail Chimp to keep accurate data and client contact records.
- Participate in weekly Business Development conference calls and other company meetings in person or otherwise.
- Support the Marketing team to deliver high quality lead generation campaigns through social media events and channels, to build top of funnel and pipeline and ensure the results are understood and communicated.
- Proving a feedback loop to the scientific teams on client interest and potential opportunities for the company.
- Escalation of appropriate business risks or issues to the Head of Sales and Marketing ensuring these are properly recorded on the company risk log and the necessary management controls are put in place to minimise risk exposure.
- Positively represent and promote the company at all internal and external events.
- Comply with and champion the company values and behaviours.
- Ensure regulatory compliance is understood and maintained relating to sales policies, GDPR, Anti Money Laundering and bribery and other relevant industry requirements.
- As required, undertake special projects to support business objectives as per the annual company scorecard.
- Maintain a high level of scientific and commercial competence, especially in relation to the promotion and positioning of company products and services.
- Maintain an awareness of competitor activities and developments.
- Other duties as assigned

**Education**
- Post secondary education in a similar or related field.

**Experience**
- 1-3 years in a similar role
- Experience preparing proposals.
- Experience with operational and scientific aspects of the business.

**Knowledge**
- Strong presentation, analytical and client service skills.
- Energetic self-starter, able to manage time and organise and prioritise workloads.
- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to follows instructions, prioritise work activity and ensure deadlines are met.
- Timekeeping and reliability.
- Strong team player.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to pick up in-house systems.
- Experience in sales would be desirable but not essential.
