**Finance Manager**

The **Finance Manager** will operate as an integral part of the management team to develop and implement strategies and initiatives for improving performance and results.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle accounting
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
- Maintain and record fixed assets
- Prepare and file all government reports and remittances
- Complete general ledger operations
- Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts (accruals, prepaids, depreciation)
- Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
- Assist with year-end closings
- Administer accounts receivable and back-up to A/P clerk when necessary
- Must have detailed understanding of the manufacturing operations to provide financial information and reporting to senior leadership; work with other managers to improve cost controls and management of costs and budgets throughout the business.

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- Hands-on experience working with general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and maintaining capital expenses and depreciation schedules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Deadline-driven
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative where appropriate and be self-motivated
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding internal and customer information
- Must be team focused with the willingness and desire to support company growth and success

**Education & Training Requirements**
- Post-secondary degree in finance/accounting management
- 5+ years’ related experience preferred
- Proficient with ERP systems, specifically Epicor would be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $1,000.00 per year
