Manual Brushing

**Overview**:
Summit is looking for **Manual brushing & Spacing Technicians** for the 2023 spring and summer season.
- Season: May-August
- Remote work throughout BC & AB
- We have a subsequent Fall season going into October

- Brushing consists of the manual clearing of brush and or of competing trees usually located on cut blocks. You'll be operating a brush cutting saw to treat areas to the level of quality required by out clients. Brushers are expected to work full days throughout the season. Because of the nature of our work site locations, we will be based out of either small mobile bush camps, motels and the odd large planting camp. 4 and 1s is our regular shift schedule, working 10 hour days. Personal vehicles are not required but are definitely welcomed. You can expect to at the very least to cook for yourself for the majority of the season.

**Compensation**:

- Brushing is piece work meaning you’ll be payed by the hectare
- Prices are determined by the difficulty of the land therefore will vary accordingly.
- Employees that are certified and act as crew drivers or first aid attendants will be compensated an additional daily wage.
