**Establishing and fostering a true Diner en Blanc International community**

The main responsibilities related to this role consist of marketing and promoting the events, specifically on social media, to maintain and nurture the Diner en Blanc community.That is, to establish a communication plan and structure that generates interest among members who remain active and connected leading up to the event in their city, in the off-season, and ideally in other cities as well.

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will also oversee the creation of written and visual content in line with the Diner en Blanc brand objectives and identity established on the website, in press releases, internal documents, communication with guests and local organizers, and beyond.

**Being at the forefront of social media**The Social Media Marketing Specialist also has the mandate to push Diner en Blanc International towards mastering social media, maximizing its presence, and being avant-garde: researching and fostering relationships with key influencers and creating a character/icon that can be followed by the Diner en Blanc community across all platforms.

Availability: Immediately - Full-time

Annual Salary: $55,000

Location: Downtown Montreal, in-person

Schedule: Monday to Friday

**These responsibilities involve the following tasks that could be accomplished alongside outsourced specialists**:

- Ensure brand consistency across all materials (follow-through of new Brand Identity). Working on Brand ID in all new documents with a graphic person on UpWork or other subcontractors.
- Help Hosts and Members understand DEB’s offerings and vision by developing promotional materials, videos, and editorial content.
- Create new content for press releases, presentations, corporate newsletters / or coordinate with subcontracted copywriter(s)
- Develop advertising, marketing and promotional materials and coordinate event production (print, video, photos, etc.) with relevant subcontractors
- Coordinate production of graphics and videos as needed: visual, editorial, and pertinent content for the development and maintenance of the new platform and website (work with external resources where needed for graphic content).
- Coordinate and organize demographic information on global and national audiences and utilize market trends, consumer research to interpret and drive results for our Sponsorships
- Create/manage regular content for DEB International news pages and social media pages.
- Improve presence on all social media platforms and create an SEO strategy for the various communication channels.
- Oversee creation of Social Media templates to streamline the visuals in all cities.
- Work on Monetization of social media with consultants.
- Managing official photos and videos of Diner En Blanc events worldwide
- Other related duties

**Education, Experience, and Skills Required**
- Bilingual (excellent English); proficient writing and editing skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; relevant certifications in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content creation are a plus
- 3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Experience developing and executing social media strategies that align with overall marketing goals, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement, using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Knowledge of social media trends, best practices, algorithms, influencer marketing and partnership collaborations.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) a plus
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva a plus
- Ability to collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
