**Position**: Temporary Part-Time PSW Nursing Students

**Effective**: May 2023 to Sept 2023

**Hours**: All Shifts as assigned.

**Salary**: Per the Collective Agreement

**Qualifications**:
Must have successfully completed 1 st Year of a Nursing Program.

Must have completed school placements in a Long-term Care, hospital and/or community settings.

Must provide proof you will be returning to full-time post-secondary school in Fall 2023.

Experience in Geriatrics or equivalent.

Good communications skills.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:
Must be available and willing to work scheduled shifts, call-ins, weekends, evenings, and nights - seven (7) days a week.

Successful completion of a police record check with vulnerable sector clearance (completed within the past 6 months)

Satisfactory TB documentation (completed within the past 12 months)

Must provide proof of being “up to date” with COVID-19 vaccinations (this includes any additional recommended doses as per National Advisory Committee on Immunization, ie. “boosters”)

BENEFITS & VACATION

Will receive 14% in-lieu of benefits paid every pay, however, if enrolled in the OMERS pension plan, your in-lieu of benefits will reduce to 9%
