Reporting to the Supervisor, Site Services, this position will be a fly in
- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities as listed below and provide direction to the Cleaners & Custodians for the completion of the work;
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing of surfaces, dusting and vacuum carpeting / area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Wash windows, walls and ceilings;
- Wash, sort and fold laundry, stock linen closets and other supply areas and make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries;
- Ensure all sleeping locations are cared for and inspected after each rotation turnover to comply with site standards;
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances;
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms and showers;
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
- Report and store lost and found items;
- Notify site management of any damages, deficits, and disturbances;
- Check stocking levels of all consumables in common areas and replace when appropriate. Provide individual cabins/units supplies as requested; and
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of all company related practices.

**Competencies and Requirements**:

- Three (3) years of housekeeping, janitorial or commercial / industrial cleaning experience. Prior work at a mine site and/or remote location is preferred;
- Completion of primary school, High school diploma is preferred; and
- Ability to comprehend, read, write and converse in functional English to ensure safe working conditions on site and in position.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $79,924.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $29.00 and overtime rate of $43.50) in a work year.B2Gold Nunavut offers a competitive compensation package, including salary commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills, plus a group benefits package for employees and their dependents.
