**How you will be Successful**
- Manage and oversee the company's accounting and FPA functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with brokerage operations to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Lead the development and implementation of financial models and analysis to support business strategies and operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with business intelligence teams to enhance reporting capabilities and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans in collaboration with the CFO and other senior leaders.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Lead the implementation of financial systems and processes to support the company's growth and scalability.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.

### **Education, Experience, and Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA)
- 8+ years of experience of accounting experience within the Insurance industry
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience using EPIC is preferred
