Stevested Machinery Engineering Ltd. has a long-standing history of over 55 years in the Machining business and is currently focusing on the next phase with a brand-new facility located in Campbell Heights North, Surrey, BC with exciting new challenges that are moving our company into the future. **Is this the right fit for YOU**:

- 2+ years’ experience as a CNC Machinist / Operator / Apprentice
- **Your ability to work a Day Shift (Monday - Friday 7:00 - 3:30pm) or Afternoon shift (Monday - Thursday 12:30PM-10:30PM)**:

- Experience and direct knowledge in: operating CNC machines to tight tolerances, accurately interpreting drawings & blueprints, working with geometric dimensions and tolerances to plan machining
- Meeting production goals in terms of cycle time and quality
- Ensuring compliance with our quality standards & procedures
- Troubleshooting machining problems during processes to ensure efficiency of procedures
- Achieving Company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value
- Good communication skills to include written/oral English and works well in a team environment
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and ability to work well independently and with supervision
- Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events, and high production pressure
- Maintains safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintaining continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Being punctual and reliable to attend work for a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Performing maintenance, housekeeping duties, and other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
