Coast Aggregates is looking for a Landscape Depot Attendant at our Squamish location. We sell top quality construction aggregates, sand, decorative rock and organic top soil throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor. As the Yard Attendant you will operate a wheel loader to load small vehicles, maintain the Landscape Depot Yard, garden & landscape, deliver materials and assist with product selection. You enjoy dealing with customers, helping out the rest of the team when needed, and working outside in all conditions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Loading pickup trucks with a wheel loader
- Maintaining Landscape Depot yard
- Pressure washing, painting, general maintenance, snow clearing
- Maintain company Garden (Weeding, pruning)
- Delivery of landscape depot materials to residential customers
- Assisting customers with product selection
- Performing other relevant duties as required
- Assisting Shop with cleaning
Qualifications:
- Previous equipment operating experience an asset
- Previous Landscape & Gardening skills an asset
- Must have a class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be able to work with a variety of tools to complete various tasks
**Working Environment**:
- Able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to climb ladders and stockpiles.
- Able to work in an industrial environment that may include dust, heat, loud noise.
