Staffing Co-ordinator

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for this exciting role. The Registered Nurse is a regulated member of the health care team who utilizes the nursing process, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision making skills to enhance care to individuals, families, groups and communities across the lifespan.
The Registered Nurse provides professional guidance to other health professionals and practices autonomously and interdependently within the context of an interdisciplinary health care team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate an inter-professional collaborative approach, recognizing and maximizing the unique contribution of each team member
- Monitor and respond in a timely manner to quality, safety, risk and other performance/outcome indicators
- Responds and addresses issues and or concerns identified by staff and internal and external stakeholders in a timely fashion
- Coordinate resolution of issues/concerns related to operational activities
- Provide oversight in the development and evaluate the plan of care provided by the inter-professional team with accountability for evaluation and point of care outcomes
- Provide consistent staff scheduling and relief workforce deployment services to Stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with inter professional team members - assess clinical and educational needs of staff on an ongoing basis
- Works collaboratively with Director to identify gaps in processes, policies and procedures and support the sustainable delivery of excellent patient-centred care
- Liaise with Stakeholders and Manages staff schedules
- Provide leadership as lead of the scheduling while fostering a positive work environment
- Create an environment that empowers individuals to take ownership and responsibility for their actions, promote staff initiative and nurture high morale and engagement
- Work Remotely
**Qualifications**
- Current registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in a primary care setting;
- Demonstrated ability for independent action, initiative, problem solving, organization and prioritization;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, teaching and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with patients, families, staff and community;
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt positively to constantly changing clinical situations;
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development;
- A strong desire and capacity to promote professional practice and excellence in evidence-based, patient centred care.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $61,500.00-$75,000.00 per year
