**The Role**
Reporting to the Director, Financial Services, the Payroll Clerk is responsible for the data entry and administrative duties within the payroll department. This position supports the Payroll Officer in the administration of Payroll and related accounting functions.
Some duties that this position is responsible for include:
- Input timesheets, payroll adjustments, and new hires into payroll system
- Assisting in preparation of monthly reports, remittances, and payroll journal entries
- Assist with employee inquiries
- Ensure all payroll related information is kept secure and confidential
- Monthly and annual benefit & pension plan reconciliations support
